Retirement can be a doorway to great new possibilities but few of us have had time to create them. It is a major change in life with less structure--that can be an asset or a problem. We will be working together to examine how to make retirement a truly fulfilling asset.  It has also been proven that people who having fulfilling lives beyond retirement live longer with less complaints or ailments.  Come and explore how to deal with this vocational "rites of passage" in a more empowering way.  Created by a personal coach and his father who retired from 40 years with government and industry to work with his son in enhancing and expanding CoachingSupport.com in the DC area.  Martin Brossman brings a unique combination of experience, wisdom and humor to all of his trainings.

 

About the developer:
Martin W. Brossman III co-developed this course with his father Martin II. Martin II who has had a rich career of 40 years with the Government and Industry as a science advisor and management consultant. Martin III is the Director of CoachingSupport.com, an organization committed to supporting people in living lives they love. He is a trainer and personal coach, specializing in communications, career direction, conflict resolution,  coaching, and team effectiveness. A graduate of St. Andrews College, he has 20 years of professional experience including organizing and operating small firms and a personal consulting business. At IBM he received the "IBM Means Service" award, the top award given for customer service. In 2000 he was honored with the NC Governor's Volunteer of the Year Award. Martin has been a speaker, trainer, and coach for corporations, government agencies, and medical centers including; IBM, The Environmental Protection Agency, Duke Medical Center, Glaxo-Smith-Cline, Wake County Education, and the Granville County Health Department. He has been a featured presenter at the National Leadership Training Forum of the American Society for Training and Development. As a volunteer and trainer, he offers his services to the Laugh Mobile Program at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
